Bid Sumitted

Here’s the proof. The bid on its way from bike to bid reception. I bumped into John Craig in reception which was nice. I am sure it was a coincidence or maybe it was because we were causing a bit of concern setting up to film outside! But it felt good anyway.

He was friendly and, reading between the lines, I think he’s been really interested in the approach we’ve taken. They are expecting ‘a number’ of bids and I got the impression that it was number about halfway-ish between 15 and 25. So, as we breath a sigh of relief and can get our lives back, the hard work starts for them.

Our full bid less financials (for tender rule reasons) is attached to this post.

Thanks again everybody. This has been a really enjoyable and thought provoking experience. I, for one, am going to have to completely re-think the way I do most things!

Innovation Exchange - tender accepted

From: <John.Craig> Friday, May 18, 2007 15:02:19
Subject: Innovation Exchange - tender accepted

Dear all

Many thanks for your tender for the Innovation Exchange and apologies for the delay of a couple of days in responding. Your tender has now been accepted and will be studied with interest.

We have received a total of 21 tenders, so have some serious reading and thinking to do over the next two weeks. We will look to interview a small number of tenderers in early-June and to announce later in the month. I am working hard to provide you with a clearer idea of likely dates for possible interviews and will do so as soon as possible.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

John Craig

Subject: Innovation Exchange - date for possible interviews
To: <John.Craig>

Dear all,

Following my email on Friday, I am now able to confirm that interviews for those selected will take place on Tuesday 12th June. Apologies that I couldn’t provide this information last week. Please keep this date free, but if it poses severe problems, let us deal with those in the event that you are selected for interview.

The interviews will be with Ben Jupp (OTS), Helen Hughes (IDeA) and myself. We may also appoint a fourth independent panel member.

Best wishes,

John Craig

Rehearsing for our interview

Maybe we should start rehearsing by inviting some tough questions here, and starting to answer them!
